No it wouldn't be any nicer.

And it does require a bit of manual handling due to the technical complexity of the thing.

So stop assuming about how easy/automated it is and try to (no, don't try, just do it) be patient. It's not like you're loosing anything.

I just think that ANet should give us our reward points early on months where a festival is happening.. That way i can trade all my ZKEYS for coupons for 9 rings..

...or you could just have saved up the keys/money from last prediction. It's not like no one knew when the 9 rings would appear again.

Kay, so honestly... no one got the point? No one..? That's sad.

What's more sad though is how many trolls this forum has now, good god... Can't that shit stay on QQ forums? Come on now...

It's just a suggestion, you people honestly need to calm down. I thought it would be nicer to have the rewards come shortly after the mAT, rather than in the middle of the next month. What's wrong with that?

I mean, some of you are just so out there... and paranoid... Like someone saying they're going to remove XTH rewards 'cause I posted this. Yeah, that's gonna happen. /sarcasm

People really need to start "thinking before they speak" -- remember hearing that growing up? Still applicable.

It has nothing to do with impatience. If it was a day after the mAT finishes, then it would still be 30 days apart every month, it would just be directly after the mAT rather than in the middle of the next season. That, to me, sounds better. I don't know what you guys are on about with impatience. Did I just post this at a bad time when everyone had their panties in a wad or what? Would it've been better were I to have posted it the day after we get our Zkeys, what? Honestly, this is reminiscent of the "gtfo go play wow noob" responses.

Learn to actually post like a human. >.>

The point is, you have no point. Whether the rewards are done IMMEDIATELY upon completion of the MAT or 3 weeks after, you only get the rewards once a month. When during that month doesn't matter unless there is a specific correlation with game play, but there isn't. Changing when the rewards are awarded won't do anything but provide work for the Anet staff. Work they probably can't afford to be doing without a major reason.

Lets give this a real world scenario, shall we?

Lets say the Superbowl is February 1st this year (it is).

Now lets say you placed a bet on who would win. Lets also say maybe you just want to celebrate.

Would this make sense?

1. Your team you picked to win wins; however, they randomly decide to wait until January next year to give you your winnings. It is after all only once a year anyways! "Don't complain, there's no purpose. You're just impatient!"
2. The team you wanted to win wins. You are just about to celebrate, then you're told you need to wait for an obscure date next in the middle of the next season before you can celebrate.

That was rhetorical, but if nobody "gets" it after that, then I give up.

Okay, so I was right, thanks. It's all automated.

Quote:
Reward points are not distributed with the live build. Reward point distribution comes several minutes after the build goes live.

This is how it works. First, the build goes live. After the build is live, the database is checked to see whether your account is listed and how many reward points you get. Once the list is checked and it finds your account there, the number of reward points you receive are determined, and points are distributed. . . snip . . .
Are you done now?

You apparently need an explanation here: the "by hand" was referring to the need to recode, not the point distribution. You're obviously overlooking the technical difficulty (I'm not even sure I should explain it to you given that you're not listening). So the conclusion is fairly simple: there's no advantage to what you propose and the XTH programmer has no time. So it's a resounding /notsigned, as many said before.

I propose they distribute reward points for a given month on the minute when the mAT of the following month finishes, this way impatient people like you will be happy.

BTW most people are clam, and not trolling, you're the one more and more looking like a troll with a ridiculous idea.

What is ridiculous for you might not be the same for somebody else. It's all a matter or perception and opinions.

Being so, nothing suggested can be ridiculous, since everybody has his or her own meaning of "ridiculous". So it would be better if everybody avoided direct attack to the suggestion itself (I'm not stating you attacked the poster, but stating that his idea is ridiculous is not being respectful).

About the idea itself, It would have been better yes, but it's obviously not possible. At least, we can get some prizes for free.
